Koreans can now buy LG’s Viewty KU990 camera phone in a fetching pink finish – and Europe is rumoured to be next for the rollout.
Yes, if you felt the original black Viewty was a touch too sombre for your tastes, it seems you won’t have to wait long in order to get your mitts on a slightly more, er, feminine version. Online news sites are claiming that the pink Viewty will hit Europe within the next few weeks.
But don’t expect any new specifications or abilities – the only thing different about this model is the colour of its outer shell. Otherwise it’s business as before: the Viewty packs an outstanding 5-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, autofocus and an ISO 800 mode for flash-less low-light shooting, which aside from taking cracking still snaps can also shoot video in the DivX format (that’s a first for a UK phone). There’s also a large touch screen and HSDPA for speedy web browsing.
